Kiwi Jalapeño Margarita

Happy Cinco de Mayo!


 I whipped up this delicious frosty marg for Cinco de Mayo.  It has a little kick with the jalapeño, a little sweet with the kiwi and a little tang, it’s absolutely yummy!

Kiwi-Jalapeno-Margarita Recipe: Makes 1  8oz Margarita

  • 2oz. Reposado Tequila
  • 3oz. Fresh Kiwi Juice
  • 1oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2oz. Agave Nectar
  • Drizzle of Blackberry Syrup*
  • Fresh Jalapeño


There are a few components to this drink, first juice your kiwis in a blender, strain out the seeds through a fine mesh strainer and set the juice aside.

 Build drink in a separate mixing tin – Add kiwi juice, lime juice, tequila, slice of a fresh jalapeño, Ice and shake 8 seconds.

If you want drink spicier just muddle the jalapeño and/or add an extra slice.  Pour drink over crushed ice and drizzle blackberry syrup over the top.

* Blackberry Syrup ~ In a mixing glass add 8-10 fresh Blackberries, 2oz Agave Nectar, 1oz warm water and muddle until all mixed together into a thick syrup, strain through fine mesh strainer.
