Italian Style Salsa Verde - CaliZona

Approx. 1 1/2 Cups

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar or to taste
  • 3 Garlic – minced
  • 1/4 Cup Shallot – minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Capers – roughly chopped
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice – fresh squeezed
  • 1 Teaspoon Crushed Red Peppers
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt – or to taste
  • Dash Black Pepper – or to taste
  • 3/4 Cup Fresh Parsley - packed - minced
  • 3/4 Cup Fresh Basil - packed - minced
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Mint -packed - minced - optional
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Chives - packed - minced

Instructions

  1. Add everything into a medium-sized bowl, then mix well.
  2. Let it sit for a little bit to meld the flavors.
