This Homemade Ginger Beer is refreshing, delicious and healthy! I love homemade ginger beer’s fresh and spicy bite! I’ll take it over a canned soda any day.
Homemade Ginger Beer
Ingredients
1 Drink
- 1 Teaspoon Fresh Ginger Root - juiced - or to taste
- 8 oz. or 1/2 Cup Sparkling Water
- 1 oz. or 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
- 1 oz. or 2 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar or 3/4 oz. or 1 Tablespoon +1 Teaspoon Demerara Syrup - recipe below
4 Drinks
- 1 Tablespoon + 1 Teaspoon Ginger Root - juiced - or to taste
- 32 oz. Sparkling Water
- 1/4 Cup Lime Juice - fresh squeezed - 2 - 3 limes
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Sugar or 1/4 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Demerara Syrup - recipe below
Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Raw Demerara Sugar or Honey
- 1/2 Cup Hot Filtered Water
Instructions

In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil.

Add the sugar, turn to simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Peel the skin off of the ginger, this will make it less bitter.

Then juice the ginger in a juicer.

Juice the limes.

Mix everything together in individual glasses and serve with a wedge of lime.

You can keep everything separate to customize each drink.
