Making your own Simple Syrup

Simple Syrup is used in many drink recipes and it is quite “Simple” to make yourself

SimpleSyrup

There are so many different types of sugars out there; this basic recipe can be used for any type of sugar. You will just get a variety of flavors and consistencies depending on what sugar you decide to use .

Just add water!

SimpleSyrup-.

Recipe:  Makes 2 Cups

  • 2 Cups of Hot Purified Water
  • 2 Cups Organic Cane Sugar, Turbinado, Brown Sugar, Stevia 

*Optional:  You can add Herbs, Spices, Fruit, Etc…

Instructions:

For the basic fine granulated sugar you don’t need to use a stove top.

 Measure your sugar into a mixing bowl.

Add the equal amount of hot water to sugar.

Keep stirring until dissolved.

If you are using a sugar with thicker granules you may need to put it on the stove top, on low heat in a small saucepan, stir continually until all granules are dissolved.
