This tangy sweet berry is even great in a cocktail! Try this refreshing summer drink you won’t be disappointed.
The pichuberry is considered the “Lost Incan Treasure” because of its multiple health benefits. It is native to the highlands of Peru, Chile, Colombia, and other countries along the Andes Mountains.
Recipe: Makes 1 Delicious Cocktail
- 1 1/2oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- 4-5 Pichuberries
- 6-8 Mint Leaves
- 1 Teaspoon of Organic Raw Sugar or 1/2 oz of Simple Syrup
- Sparkling Water or Soda Water
Instructions:
Remove the husks from your pichus and pull your mint leaves off of stems.
Add pichuberries, sugar and a splash of sparkling to berries in order to muddle with ease. Mash berries well then add mint, liquor, then Ice and Shake to mix together.
Strain into cocktail glass with Ice and garnish with mint sprig and pichuberries.
