After making the Carmelized Herb Tomatoes I decided to play around with them to see if they would make a tasty dip or spread and voila… DELISH!
Start by toasting your Walnuts, set aside and cool
Caramelized Herb Tomatoes (these can be prepared ahead of time)
Add the Tomatoes to food processor
Add Organic Olive Oil to Tomatoes
Add Salt
Add Walnuts to the food processor and blend all together
Serve with Crostini’s, Cracker’s or on Pasta. It is also really good mixed in the Homemade Marinara Sauce
Recipe - Makes About 1 Cup
- 12 Small OG Tomatoes (Caramelized Herb Tomatoes)
- 1/2 Cup OG Walnuts (How To: Toast Walnuts)
- 1 Cup OG Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt
