Great neighborhood Italian, house made pasta, great wine, a casual kid friendly environment, and the food was GREAT!!!
We started out with the Castelvatrano olives (my kids & I LOVE olives) and house made focaccia bread; I had a glass of the Dryland’s Sauvignon Blanc straight from Marlborough, NZ. I wanted to try something Italian but I can’t do the dry whites! Next we shared the Casa Insalate, which were great, simple greens with roasted garlic dressing, grand padano and grilled bread. Similar to a Caesar without the anchovy taste! For my main course I had the Gigli pasta– house made pesto, pine nuts, crispy capers and freshly shaved grana padano …yummmmm!!!!!! I had to have a red wine with my pasta so I chose the Valpolicella-Masi Bonacosta-Veneto it went great with the pasta!
You think by this time we would have stopped but we were all having a sweet tooth! Last but not least the ………..
